Millie is an exciting initiative included in our newest division\, Community Health & Nutrition. \n\n \n\nMillie's mission is to provide an opportunity for our neighbors living in food deserts to purchase affordable produce items at a significantly discounted cost without the burden of traveling to a retailer far from their homes\, as produce options are often very limited or non-existent at retailers serving rural areas. \n\n \n\nWe are also excited for Millie to soon become a SNAP authorized retailer allowing families to utilize their SNAP benefits to purchase nutritious food. \n\n \n\nWe would love for you to join us as we celebrate the launch of Millie this Friday\, January 5\, at the Jay Farmers' Market\, 5369 Commerce Street Jay\, FL 32565 from 10 am-12 pm. \n\n \n\nRSVPs can be made to kschoolar@feedingthegulfcoast.org.
