DESCRIPTION:Do you need help with accounting and bookkeeping for your business?  The Florida SBDC at UWF offers "QuickBooks Basics" on Wednesday\, March 4\, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.  In this course\, we will talk about choosing the QuickBooks version that fits your company needs. We will take you through the Desktop version of setting up a company and chart of accounts for your industry\, spending and receiving monies\, monitoring accounts receivable and payroll. You will also learn about the balance sheets and income statements. The final section of the course will cover a brief introduction to payroll\, timesheet options\, banking and credit card importing\, and a tour of the online version of QuickBooks.  Presented by Ryan Francis from Carr\, Riggs & Ingram\, CPAs and Advisors.   Attendance fee is $20 online for the public (required at online registration) and no fee for students and employees of UWF (just call us at 850-474-2528 to register).
