Both races are scheduled to start at 8:10 AM at the corner of Radford Boulevard and Fred Bauer Road in front of Starbucks. Gates will open at 6 AM. In 2016\, the event raised more that $50\,000 for the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society and the Navy Ball. This year's race is limited to 3\,000 participants.
