Friends of West Florida Public Library Big Spring Book Sale

Friends of West Florida Public Library, a non-profit support organization of the West Florida Public Library, will hold its Big Spring Book Sale and Silent Auction April 24, 25 & 26 at the downtown Main Library.  Thousands of hardcover, paperback, and collectible books will be available for purchase, plus a variety of DVDs, CDs, puzzles, and other items. Proceeds are used to fund programs and enhancements at WFPL branches.  Friday, April 24 is Preview Day of the Book Sale. From 3pm to 7pm, Friends of WFPL members get exclusive early access to the Book Sale. Non-members can pay $5 admission to take part in Preview Day. Memberships can be purchased at the door.  On Saturday, April 25, the Book Sale will be open from 9am to 5pm, with free admission for all shoppers and reduced prices.  Sunday, April 26 is the final day of the Book Sale, with free admission and from noon to 3pm. Sunday is also the day of the popular Bag Sale, where shoppers pay one price and can take home as many items as will fit in their bag.  Payment by cash or check is preferred. Credit cards are accepted for sales of $20 or more. All profits are used to support the West Florida Public Library branches and programs.
