Description
Pensacola State College presents the poignant dramatic comedy, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” Feb. 26-28 and March 1 at the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola Campus.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. for Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances and 2:30 p.m. for the Sunday matinee,
Set in a state mental hospital, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” focuses on Randle McMurphy, a charming rogue who contrives to serve a short sentence in a mental institution rather than in a prison. Once inside, he encounters several patients who lack faith in themselves, causing McMurphy to become their advocate in a clash with the hospital staff led by the merciless Nurse Ratched.
