The Pensacola Crawfish Festival brings over 20,000 people to downtown Pensacola for this 3-day event where 16,000 pounds of Louisiana crawfish will be served. Music artists will be performing traditional Louisiana swamp pop, Cajun and zydeco music throughout the weekend. The festival has been recognized as one of the Top 20 festivals in the southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society and was runner up for the 2012 Independent News' "Best of the Coast" for Best Annual Food Event. Admission is $5 daily or $10 for a weekend pass. Children 12 and under admitted free. Get a sneak peak of the festival on Friday, May 3, and get in free before 3 PM. Active duty military also receives free admission all day Friday.
