Courtney Cook Named Vice President of Development- Big Brothers Big Sisters Northwest Florida
PENSACOLA, Fla. – Courtney Cook has joined Big Brothers Big Sisters as Vice President of Development. Her role will include event sponsorship, donor development and partnership cultivation.

Cook holds her graduate degree in clinical social work from Florida State University, her undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida and is a licensed clinical social worker. Cook has over 13 years in the not for profit community working previously at Covenant Hospice, Alzheimer’s Family Services and most recently at Baptist Hospital’s Cancer Institute where she led a successful mission of growth for the cancer support program.

“I love the not for profit world. I believe in the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters and feel honored to be chosen to be a part of such a force in our community,” said Cook. “I feel that my previous positions have all collided to ready me to be at Big Brothers Big Sisters at this exact moment in time.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida has been the area’s leader in one-to-one youth service for 28 years by providing caring, adult mentors to children ages six to 18. Their mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of everyone involved. In 2016, Big Brothers Big Sisters served 650 children in Northwest Florida.
