Jeremy Carver of Edward Jones in Gulf Breeze, Florida recently won two of the firm's coveted awards:

The Zeke McIntyre Pioneer Award recognizes financial advisors who achieve high levels of success early in their careers with the financial services firm.  Jeremy is one of only 266 of the firm's more than 13,000 brokers to receive the award.  The award was named after Edward Jones legend Zeke McIntyre, who opened the firm's first branch office in 1957 in Mexico, MO.

The Ted Jones Prospecting Award recognizes advisors who achieve high levels of success in their first year.  Jeremy is one of only 476 of the firm's more than 13,000 financial advisors to receive the award.  The award is named after Ted Jones, the legendary son of the firm's founder, who recognized the need to sell securities to individual investors and established the firm's one-person branch office concept.  "I'm very proud to receive an award named after Ted Jones," Carver said. "It is because of him that our Gulf Breeze office exists, and I believe we are serving an important need here for one-on-one investment information. I plan to do my best to continue meeting that need."

Jim Weddle, the firm's managing partner, said either award is a strong indicator of an financial advisor's future success. "We recruit and hire our financial advisors from among the best, so we expect our brokers to do well," Weddle said. "But to achieve such success early in his career with Edward Jones is outstanding, and I commend Jeremy for his performance and dedication."
