In an effort to address health\n\nissues that plague youth\, decrease crime in our community and low graduation rates\, Boys and\n\nGirls Clubs provides a variety of programs that address 3 priority outcome areas Academic\n\nSuccess\, Healthy Lifestyles\, along with Good Character and Citizenship. After school and during\n\nthe summer\, Club members have access to educational\, artistic\, and recreational activities. We\n\ntake youth who need us most\, address and meet their needs with an outcome driven Club\n\nexperience to yield priority outcomes.\n\nIn 2018\, Pensacola Clubs made a lasting impact on more than 300 young people from 5 to 18\n\nyears of age. We host after school and summer programs at 2 program sites: Englewood Center\n\nand Montclair Elementary school. The Pensacola Clubs supplement school day lessons and\n\ncombats summer learning loss with fun\, engaging\, impactful programs such as Power Hour\n\n(homework help)\, field trips\, S.T.E.M. activities\, Club Tech\, Career Launch and reading club. Club\n\nmemberships gives them a fun\, positive\, supervised environment in which they can engage with\n\npeers and professional staff to sow seeds of good characters\, community service and the need for\n\nacademic success.\n\nWe're undertaking a full-court press to provide these life changing programs to the youth of\n\nPensacola Clubs.
