DESCRIPTION:In celebration of the arts and in commemoration of Viva Florida 500\, the Pensacola Museum of Art unveiled an exhibition\nof works by The Oak Ridge Boys' William Lee Golden.\n\nIt will be on display from July 2 to August 31. A\, by invitation only\, VIP reception sponsored by The West Florida Alumni Association and the University of West Florida Division of Anthropology and Archaeology will be held on Thursday\, August 22nd.\n\n"Picasso once said that painting is just another way of keeping a diary\,'' says William Lee. ''I totally agree. My paintings not only document my travels\, but they reveal what captures my eye and heart."\n\nSchedule of events for the reception:\n\n• VIP private reception 5:30 - 7:00\n\n• Open to the public 7:00 - 9:00\n\nAlong with landscapes of scenes from around the world\, a new piece honoring the historic landscapes of Florida will be unveiled as a commemorative tribute to Viva Florida 500. Pensacola Museum of Art hours are Tuesday-Friday 10 AM – 5 PM\, Saturday 12 PM – 5 PM. The museum is closed Sundays and Mondays. Admission is $5 for adults\, $2.50 for seniors\, $2 for students and active duty military. Children under 5 are free. Tuesdays\, admission is free to the public.
