DESCRIPTION:Learn About the Magnificent Monarch Butterfly!\nPanhandle Butterfly House's award-winning ''Kiderpillar School'' program offers tours\n\nAs part of the 7th Annual Monarch Madness Butterfly Festival\, the Panhandle Butterfly house is offering tours through its awarding-winning ''Kiderpillar School'' program. Scheduled tours will be available during the weeks of Sept. 30 – Oct. 4 and Oct. 7 – 11 at the Panhandle Butterfly House located at 8581 Navarre Parkway in Navarre Park just west of the Navarre Bridge. To schedule a tour\, please email grouptours@panhandlebutterflyhouse.org with ***Monarch Madness Tour Request*** in the subject line.\n\nUF/IFAS Extension Master Gardeners and community volunteers teach the Kiderpillar program which has a curriculum that meets the Sunshine State Standards for Florida. More Information is available online at www.panhandlebutterflyhouse.org. Tours for larger groups including school classes and after school programs can enjoy three separate lessons covering the life cycle and habits of butterflies\, the journey of the monarch simulated in the gardens\, and the ecosystem of the estuary and a freshwater pond.\n\nA variety of native butterflies inhabit the inside and outside gardens. All stages of the butterfly life cycle may be observed on nectar and host plants. The Panhandle Butterfly House is run totally by volunteers and depends on grants and the generosity of its visitors to sustain their educational exhibits.
