DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, October 18\, 2013 from 5:00-8:00pm\, Pensacola Opera will host a Spanish-inspired Open House in celebration of our upcoming production of Carmen and Viva Florida 500. Guests will have the chance to learn more about Pensacola Opera and buy tickets to our upcoming season at exclusive open house prices while being serenaded by the Mobile-based Flamenco guitar duo Roman Street! Roman Street is an internationally trained guitar duo based out of Mobile\, AL\, that specializes in the improvisational fusion of Classical\, Gypsy and Contemporary Jazz\, Latin\, Funk\, and Nuevo Flamenco. Roman Street has opened concerts and festivals for international sensations George Benson\, The Gipsy Kings\, Ziggy Marley\, Boney James\, Dave Koz\, The Rippingtons\, Earl Klugh\, Jesse Cook\, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. \nThis event will be a part of Gallery Night\, so stop by the Opera Center for Spanish-themed refreshments\, great music\, and fun before you head on to more festivities downtown!
