DESCRIPTION:Supporting SAFER Santa Rosa (Support Alliance for Emergency Readiness) through personal and corporate sponsorships is essential to the success of the organization.  SAFER and its community partners are raising awareness and education about the benefits of maintaining a healthily lifestyle through proper diet and physical activity.  All proceeds go directly to SAFER Santa Rosa to continue the Safe Communities designation for Santa Rosa County and long term recovery response after disasters.  Every dollar helps.  Sponsorships available. \n\n\n\nSAFER 5K Healthy Heart/Healthy Community Run/Walk\n\n\n\nSeptember 26\, 2015 Race begins at 8:30 a.m.\n\n\n\nBlackwater Heritage Trail\n\nStart line will be by SunTrust Bank\n\nTobacco Free Event\n\n\n\nRegistration fee is $20 for ages 12 and over and $10 for under 12.\n\n\n\nPacket pick up : Thursday September 24 from 4-6 p.m. at DOH  Santa Rosa\n\nFriday September 25 from 4-6 p.m. at DOH  Santa Rosa\n\nMorning of the race September 26 from 7-8 a.m. Blackwater Trail\n\n\n\nYou may be asked to sign a waiver at packet pick up.\n\nT-shirts for the Inaugural Race will be given to the first 100 participants.\n\nAll participants will receive race bags\, water bottles\, and other goodies.\n\nAwards will be given to all age categories.\n\nThis will be a self-timed race.\n\nThe race will continue rain or shine.
