Bowl for Kids' Sake

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida is seeking corporate sponsors and teams for their annual Bowl for Kids' Sake event on March 31 at New Liberty Lanes in Pensacola. This event is Big Brothers Big Sisters' largest fundraising event and it's about having fun and helping kids. Teams of six fundraise a minimum of $500 in donations, choose a bowling shift, and bowl…for kids' sake. However, we challenge each team to raise $1,000 which is the cost to support one Big (mentor)/Little (child) match for one year. The event includes two games, shoe rental, an event t-shirt and awesome door prizes. You can be a sponsor, a bowler, or both! Available bowling shifts on Saturday, March 31 are 5:00 p.m. or 7:30p.m. Sponsorship levels range from $250-$5,000. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida has been the area's leader in one-to-one youth service for 20 years by providing caring, adult mentors to children ages six to 18. Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Research has found that after spending time with their Big, the Little was 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs, 52% less likely to skip school and 75% more likely to receive a four year college degree. Big Brothers Big Sisters currently serves 350 children in Northwest Florida.
