Description
Join us for a FREE credit workshop hosted by the Louis Maygarden Center for Financial Literacy. This event is open to the public. From 10am to 11am you'll learn about credit scores and credit reports, what they mean, and how you can improve them to meet your own financial goals- like owning a home!
Seating is limited so please register in advance.
About the Louis Maygarden Center:
One of the main goals of the Center for Financial Literacy is to increase awareness of, and access to, effective financial education. The Maygarden Center for Financial Literacy collaborates with successful providers of financial education to provide a pathway to competency in financial literacy. The center offers various learning opportunities including workshops, seminars, and speaker series.
The center also focuses on intervention by offering credit counseling services to individuals contemplating life-changing financial matters. The counseling services are sponsored by Members First Credit Union and are personalized and offered to any member of the community. Individual credit counseling is performed by the center’s certified credit counselors.
