The My First Tri Training Program is open for registration. The program consists of 12 weeks of training in swimming, biking and running. Participants learn everything they need to know to compete their first triathlon, including overcoming fear of an open water swim to navigating through the transition area. Participants receive a training schedule with specific weekly goals, as well as one-on-one feedback with the coach. The kick-off meeting is March 8th@5:30pm, Running Wild Pensacola. Registration is not required to come to the meeting; feel free to attend the meeting to get information & learn about the program. Registration is available the night of the kick-off meeting. Training Pre-Reqs: Before starting the program participants should be able to swim 200 yards, run 2 miles (pace not important) and cycle a minimum of 5-8 miles(about 45 minutes) regardless of speed.
