National Blood Donor Month Blood Drive

Start the New Year and make a pledge to be a blood donor by celebrating National Blood Donor Month Friday, January 11. Regular donors and first time donors are urged to give blood needed for patients at our local hospitals during this special blood drive event. A drawing of a new Kia Soul donated by Pensacola KIA Autosport for one lucky blood donor will be held during a blood drive at the WEAR TV studios. The winner of the 2012 KIA Soul will be drawn from blood donors who donated between June 29, 2012 and December 31, 2012.There will also be first and second place runner-ups who will receive gift cards. Each donor attending will receive a limited edition National Blood Donor Month t-shirt, a wellness check and cholesterol screening. SUBWAY sandwiches will be served from 11am to 2pm.
