Pensacola Little Theatre is holding auditions for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the first musical of the 2012-2013 season, July 9 & 10, 2012. Based on the popular movie, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels follows the entertaining antics of two con men. When brash Freddy decides to set up shop on the French Riviera, he clashes with suave and polished Lawrence, the town's established con. There's only room for one con man in town, so the men set a challenge: Whoever can first con the agreed mark out of $50,000 will stay; the other will have to seek his fortune elsewhere. The show's humor escalates along with the challenge as the men try to outwit each other and their mark. Directors, Jessica Wade and Renee Jordan are looking for a cast of three male and three female leads with a mixed ensemble. This is going to be an incredibly fun and busy show for the ensemble. Ages: 18-50. Auditions will be held on July 9 and 10 at 7:00 p.m. Actors will be asked to prepare sixteen bars of a song and bring clothes to lightly dance in.
