Pensacola Opera Hosts an Open House

Pensacola Opera will host an Open House event Wed. Dec. 5, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the newly renovated Opera Center located at 75 S. Tarragona St. in downtown Pensacola. The Opera's Board of Trustees, administrative staff, building committee and IMPACT 100 Board members invite the community to celebrate the close of the Opera Center building renovation project supported by a grant awarded to Pensacola Opera by IMPACT 100 last November. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the renovated space and earn more about the building project from the companies and individuals who graciously contributed their time, resources and support to ensure a timely and successful renovation. The IMPACT 100 Opera Center renovation included repairs and improvements to the rehearsal hall, meeting spaces, façade, storage and restrooms. A majority of the improvements were made to the company's 1,000 square foot rehearsal hall, which is used for a variety of events, meetings and special performances.
