Gulf Winds Credit Union Hosting Free Financial Workshop : 9/6/2024
Pensacola, Florida (September 5, 2024) – Gulf Winds Credit Union is thrilled to continue its partnership with the University of West Florida’s Louis Maygarden Center for Financial Literacy. The free workshop, Adulting 101, is aimed towards anyone looking to deepen their financial knowledge and will offer in-depth guidance on topics such as budgeting, credit management, and tax filing.
Instructor Elizabeth Torres, Branch Manager at Gulf Winds Credit Union’s Blue Angel Branch, brings a wealth of knowledge from her 16 years in the banking industry. She will share how a strong financial literacy foundation can support a person in saving for a dream car, a new house, retirement, and more vital milestones. Attendees will leave equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed financial decisions.
The workshop will be hosted at the University of West Florida’s Conference Center on September 19 from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Lunch will be provided on behalf of Gulf Winds. Understanding financial literacy from a young age sets the foundation for lifelong financial well-being, making this workshop valuable for individuals of all ages.
