2016 Primary Election Candidate Forum

Join us for our Primary Election Candidate Forum presented by the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber, Navarre Beach Area Chamber and United Peninsula Association. 

• Beginning at 6:00pm, there will be a presentation of the colors, invocation and brief welcome.
• We will begin the forum with a 90 second introduction of each candidate followed by Equal Time Q&A for all Contested Primary Races with a minimum of two candidates in attendance in the following order:
  • Santa Rosa County Tax Collector
  • Santa Rosa County Commissioner – District 1
  • Santa Rosa County Commissioner – District 3
  • Santa Rosa County School Board – District 2
  • Santa Rosa County Sheriff
  • US Congressional District 1
• Once all questions have been asked for a race, each candidate will have 90 seconds for closing remarks.
• If two or more candidates in a contested race are not in attendance, or a candidate is represented by someone other than themselves, no questions will be asked.  The present candidate or representative will be given the opportunity to speak up to 5 minutes in addition to their 90 second introduction to provide additional information to the attendees.

Anyone wishing to submit a question to be considered for use in the forum,
please submit them to ceo@gulfbreezechamber.com.  Attendees can also submit questions for consideration at the event.

*The Gulf Breeze Area Chamber, Navarre Beach Area Chamber and United Peninsula Association Candidate Forum will be non-partisan in nature.  Both organizations guarantee neutrality.  No candidate or political party will be endorsed or given special treatment.
