Consumer Protection Fair

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is hosting a Consumer Protection Fair on November 1, 2017, at the Bayview Senior Center from 10:00 a.m. To 1:00 p.m. We are bringing together various state and local organizations that provide consumers with information on scams, fraud, safety, abuse, and consumer rights into one venue to share this information with the public. There will be various state and local organizations present including The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Department of Financial Services, Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Florida Public Service Commission, Senior Medicare Patrol, Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, and more. We will also have some presentations during the event to include issues such as credit card skimmers, scams, and food safety at home. Join us to learn the latest in consumer fraud and scams and ways to keep your family safe.
