Gardening 101: Square Foot Gardening, Composting & Herbs

On Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. until noon the Santa Rosa Master Gardeners will present ''Gardening 101: Square Foot Gardening, Composting & Herbs'' at the UF/IFAS Extension Santa Rosa County office. Extension faculty and Master Gardeners will present on how to get the most of your garden space through the use of the Square Foot Gardening method, how to compost, grow herbs, and preserve and cook with herbs. The $10 per person program fee includes an herb tasting, handouts on presented information and morning snacks. Registration in advance is not required. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. the morning of the program. UF/IFAS Extension Santa Rosa County is located at 6263 Dogwood Drive in Milton.
