Gulf Islands National Seashore Florida District Annual Beach Cleanup

Description

As summer draws to a close, Gulf Islands National Seashore is pleased to announce the arrival of the Annual International Coastal Cleanup. 

Coastal cleanup volunteers are advised to wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, sunscreen and hats,  and to bring drinking water. Families, individuals, businesses, and community groups can choose their favorite locations from the list below to register and receive trash bags, data cards and information.

Entrance fees will be waived for individuals participating in the cleanup.

WHERE:   Gulf Islands National Seashore:

• Santa Rosa Area – Meet at Opal Beach, sound side.
• Perdido Key Area - Meet at Johnson Beach star pavilion, gulf side
• Fort Pickens Area – Meet at Langdon Beach, gulf side.
