Pensacola Sertoma Dragon Boat Festival

Description

The sport involves 22 team members paddling in unison to a drummer's beat in a long, narrow boat decorated at bow and stern with a dragon's head and tail.  This 2,500 year-old Chinese sport is said to have a visceral feel that appeals to everyone."  This event is:  family competitive, a day in the park, a large children's activity area and proceeds go to benefit the Gulf Coast Kids House.  Races begin at 8 AM.  For additional information/registration, please visit pensacoladragonboatfestival.com.
