Santa Rosa Day of Service

SAFER Santa Rosa, in partnership with Santa Rosa County, is organizing its first-ever Santa Rosa Day of Service on Saturday, July 23.  Want to clean up the lawn of an elderly citizen or build a ramp for a person with disabilities? Perhaps you’d rather beautify a park for families to enjoy, or pick up litter on the roadside to make your town more appealing? SAFER is currently accepting projects for consideration. Organizations are encouraged to recommend projects online to be matched with resources. A small business might submit a road clean up project but need more manpower. A service group might submit a ramp build project but need materials. Submit your project for consideration early and ask your employees, co-workers, friends and family to set this day aside to work together to improve your community. Individuals may not enter projects, only representatives of organizations. Working together, teams can make a big difference in just one day.
