Over 300 lenders to work with for residential and commercial loans.  We are seeking a highly motivated licensed Mortgage Loan Officer's to join our dynamic team.  As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating, evaluating, and processing mortgage loan applications from clients seeking to purchase or refinance residential properties.  The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a thorough understanding of mortgage lending regulations, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.   

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective borrowers to understand their financial goals and assess their eligibility for mortgage loans.
  • Educate clients on various mortgage products, terms, and options available to them.
  • Collect and analyze financial information, including credit reports, income documentation, and asset statements, to determine loan eligibility.
  • Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documents.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other stakeholders to expedite the loan approval and closing process.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, including RESPA, TRID, and Fair Lending practices, to ensure compliance at all times.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources to generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their loan applications and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and production goals set by the company.

Requirements:
  • Active NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System) license as a Mortgage Loan Officer.
  • Proven track record of success in mortgage lending, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to review and interpret financial documents accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in mortgage loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
